Mitchell Kastner is the publisher and editor of the Federal Workplace Law Update. Mr. Kastner served with the United States Civil Service Commission's Federal Employees Appeals Authority as an Assistant Appeals Officer and EEO Complaints Examiner. He then served with the Commission's successor, the United States Merit Systems Protection Board, as an Administrative Judge. He was the Deputy Regional Director of the Board's New York Field Office. Mr. Kastner re-entered the private practice of law in 1985. Mr. Kastner's practice mainly comprises representing federal employees and postal service workers before administrative tribunals and in court. He is co-featured with former MSPB Chairman Daniel Levinson on MSPB: Litigation Techniques from Dewey Publications, Inc.
